"COPPERSPRING GUNDOGS"

Working English Springer Spaniels

TESTIMONIALS

Here are some of the comments recieved from our puppy owners....

Bella (Copperspring Tarakan) is our idea of the perfect Springer Spaniel. We can't thank Helen and Will enough for their wonderful service. When Bella went for her vaccination and check-up the vet said that she was in absolutely brilliant condition and the breeders have obviously shown a lot of love and care towards her and we couldn't agree more.

In the weeks leading up to us collecting Bella, we were encouraged to call over as much as we liked so we could bond with her which was fab because we got to know her cheeky but sweet personality. Even though she has an exceptional gundog family history, she was initially going to be a family pet on a working farm, but since being in contact with Helen, we have become increasingly more interested in using her natural working talent as a gun dog which was already showing at seven weeks of age.  We have begun to train her on the dummies and she is retrieving instinctively. She sits when commanded to and comes back to the whistle even at 11 weeks old. We even had her toilet trained after only owning her for two days with the help and advice from Helen.

Thanks to Helen and Will for breeding such a fabulous dog.

"Brooke (Copperspring Amber) has been the most fantastic addition to our doggy clan (we already had a lab, spaniel and 2 jack russells).  Everybody who meets her and sees how well behaved she is asks us how we managed to achieve such a happy charaterful dog.  We just tell them that we bought her trained from you and we followed your post sale instructions.

Our other dogs can be going mad to go out for a walk and Brooke will sit there wagging her tail as fast as ever possible but she won't move until one of us tell her too.  Although she is my dog, she will also behave beautifully for my husband and children as they have learnt her command too.

She is so unbelievably clever.  She used to come with me to take the horses to the field but the horses can be silly at the gate way so I had to ask her to sit and wait half way down the track for her safety.  After the first 3 times she no longer follows me down the muddy track to take the horses to the field but waits at the stables, however, if i go up to lunge a horse she sits at the entrance to the arena quietly until we finish.  That is especially clever when you know that we do our dog training in the arena!!!!

Out beating she is described by everyone as a pleasure to watch working as you see her bouncing through the kale!! She is extremely well behaved and although probably runs on a little ahead compared to Helen's tight quartering. Its my fault because when the other dogs are sooooo far ahead, if I keep her tight, she doesn't get to flush anything!!!!  Also she retrieves expertly as well.

I can't thank Helen enough for allowing me to buy Brooke, and I know how difficult it was for her, but my husband and I have decided that if we ever get another working type dog in the future then we will try and buy one trained. If it was to be a spaniel then we would definately go to Helen first."

Ethel (Copperspring Alexandrite) is a little Gem.  Perfect puppy in my eyes.  I couldn’t get over how spotless the kennels/dogs/puppies were and what a friendly, informative and an efficient service Helen and Will provide.

I believe my name is already down on the next waiting list.

Cecil (Copperspring Tanzanite) is now a full member of our family. A wonderful character full of beans, he has had the best start in life he could have ever had with Helen and Will. Their level of cleanliness, care and time dedicated to the puppies could not be any higher. We’ve had support from them throughout and they have provided excellent levels of information.

Thank you both for Cecil, he’s wonderful.

lola (Copperspring Tourmaline) is a very bright bundle of mischief and enormous pleasure. Our family first met her when she was nine days old and were encouraged by Helen and Will to become regular visitors. Not a difficult task! The knowledgeable care and attention devoted to all the puppies was extremely encouraging to see. What has pleased us above all though is the after care we have received. Helen has been in regular contact, visited Lola with other pups and has now started training sessions with us. We are being trained! Not Lola. Helen even came to a puppy party with us where a bunch of young dogs were let lose to socialise. (Will my shoes ever recover?) This just goes to show the care and devotion given to the puppies does not end at the point of sale. A deeply caring and ongoing commitment to the welfare of Izzie`s puppies is something rare to find nowadays.
Thank you very much you two for the pleasure we are going to have for many years to come. I know we will remain in regular contact and support, advice and friendship will always be there
